Maintaining a Robust LinkedIn Profile

A paper or PDF résumé is simply insufficient when it comes to showing work history and industry contacts. As candidates climb the executive ladder, their professional networks are true assets. LinkedIn also allows candidates to showcase a variety of professional work and engagements in a very structured way, and more importantly it allows recruiters, hiring teams, and boards to make apples-to-apples comparisons in ways that scanning résumés does not.  LinkedIn may not be for everyone, but for the aspiring executive, it’s practically a must do.
