This fall, The College Preparatory School (College Prep) will be launching a search for a director-level technology leadership position, to oversee all aspects of College Prep's technology program.  Tucked into a glen in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland, College Prep's informal, idyllic, and welcoming campus provides an educational home for a lively and talented community of students and teachers.  Guided by Mens Conscia Recti, “a mind aware of what is right,” College Prep develops each student's strengths and capacities through an education based on ten core beliefs.

The technology department is led by a director, who reports to the head of school, and who oversees a team of three other highly engaged and mission-aligned technology professionals serving both operational and academic tech needs.  The outgoing technology director has worked at the school for over 20 years and will be serving in an interim, part-time leadership capacity for the 25-26 school year until a new director is hired.  Thus, College Prep will be open to candidates that can start in early 2026, but also to candidates that cannot start until closer to the summer of 2026.
