SUMMARY
The Epstein School, an independent community Jewish day school serving Early Childhood through 8th grade in an Atlanta suburb, Sandy Springs, Georgia, is widely recognized for its blend of academic excellence, innovative teaching, joyful Judaism, and a deep commitment to whole-child education. The Epstein Middle School (grades 5–8) serves as a transformational period for students, balancing increasing academic rigor with meaningful social-emotional, spiritual, and leadership development.
The middle school principal will serve as the division’s instructional and cultural leader, guiding the daily life and long-term direction of the middle school program. This leader will oversee academic and middle school programming, works with Epstein Curriculum Coordinator to ensure alignment of curriculum and assessment practices, and strengthen structures that support exceptional teaching and learning. The role includes supervising and developing faculty, enhancing advisory and student life programming, and creating a consistent, supportive environment that reflects Epstein’s values.
Equally important, the middle school principal will build strong relationships with students and families, fostering open communication and authentic partnership. Working collaboratively with the Epstein Head of School and the broader leadership team, this leader will contribute to strategic initiatives, support admissions efforts, engage in community events and Jewish celebrations, and help shape the division’s vision for the future.
