The director of marketing and communications will lead all aspects of internal and external communications to develop a comprehensive, high-volume, multimedia communications and marketing program that meets the needs of the evolving institution and advances the mission and brand of the School. Stevenson is undertaking a number of exciting initiatives – an historic $57M capital campaign, a rebranding partnership with Interactive Schools, and a community and culture effort – all of which the director will message and promote to the community. This expanded and elevated position will report directly to the president of the School, and is a member of the senior administrative team. The director will also supervise two full-time employees in the marketing and communications department, in addition to a number of external vendors who provide graphic design, print production, videography, and web development services. As the school’s marketing and communications needs evolve and grow, the director will have the ability to restructure the department and augment marcom staffing.
